How to get likes on Facebook for 1c to your fanpage

Share Button

Getting Facebook likes to your fanpage can be difficult and expensive if you are paying for adverts.  But to be honest if done right you can get likes to your fanpage for as little as 1 cent CPC (Cost Per Click)

I’ve put together this step by step plan on how to achieve very cheap targeted likes to your page. These are real users who will be interested in your page and will be highly active.

Setting up your Facebook Ads campaign

How i achieve very cheap likes is targetting remote countries that big advertisers would’nt advertise to because their classed as countries that aren’t buyers or don’t have much money to spend.  This then lowers the cost of CPC as big advertisers aren’t competing for advert space so this pushes the price down.  If you advertise in countries like USA/Canada/UK then the price will be well over 0.20c.  I managed to get likes from these countries for 0.16c whilst doing some experiments.

When setting up your campaign you need to narrow your target market as much as possible.  I setup a couple of Facebook fanpages for this experiment called:

Yes 3D Games & Sh1t Tv

Yes3DGames is a facebook fanpage i used to promote my mobile apps.  The idea i had was once i released a new mobile app i would promote it on my fanpage.  When i setup my campaign i narrowed it down to people who were interested in games, ages between 13-65 and who spoke english and lived in the following countries:

Albania
Montenegro
Georgia
Ethiopia
The Gambia
Mongolia
Mali
Djibouti
Burkina Faso
Bhutan
Mauritania
Niger
Guinea
Eritrea
Comoros
Federated States of Micronesia
Central African Republic
Marshall Islands
Chad
Kiribati
Tuvalu
Serbia
Bosnia and Herzegovina or Macedonia

As you can see i managed to get well over 500 likes in a short amount of time. I spent under £15 which is about $22 to achieve this. Take a look at the following screenshot and im getting likes between 0.01 and 0.03

You want to make sure you use an eye catching picture that stands out and wants to make you click on the advert. Here’s the picture i used:

Heres how the advert will look to users. Notice i use the caption “Like 3d Games?” which is the call to action, asking the user a question for them to like my page.

The 2nd fanpage i setup was Sh1t Tv that was going to be a viral type fanpage by sharing funny pictures and videos.  I had the idea of linking in a website that would generate revenue from users clicking on Google adsense adverts but i never got round to setting up the website only experimenting with the idea.

Here are screenshots of my campaign. I targeted the following countries and only targetted users who were interested in Cats/Kittens/Pets as i was going to upload funny pictures of animals in the hope of 1 picture going viral which would then bring in alot more likes.

Albania
Argentina
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bangladesh
Brazil
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Chile
Algeria
Egypt
Indonesia
India
Mexico
Malaysia
Nepal
Pakistan
Poland
Serbia
Slovakia
Tunisia
Trinidad and Tobago
Venezuela
Vietnam

As you can see from the screenshot the potential reach i had was 26,000,000.  For that advert i was getting a click through rate of 1.942% and a cost per like for 0.02p which is very good.

The trick is to make sure you have a very eye catching picture that will stand out and will want to make the user click on the picture.  As you can see i used a cute picture of a cat driving a car.  You will also want to put a call to action for the headline.  I used – “Like cute videos of cats ?”

Obviously you will want to use a picture related to your niche with a catchy title that will be your call to action.  My advise is to setup around 10 adverts using different pictures to test your adverts to see which is the best picture to use.  The picture will be the most important part of your advert as this is what users will see.
